Near Shore Solutions Inc. Limited ("NSSI" or "the Company") is a fully integrated development consulting and fund-raising company. The Company consults and raises funds for a wide cross section of clients including corporate clients, educational institutions and non-profit institutions. The Company specialises is working with educational institutions.

The Company believes that as is the case in the United States of America, alumni of Jamaican educational institutions, need to play a greater role in funding the cost of education for future generations. Many successful Jamaicans today, owe a large part of their success to their alma mater and would be willing to give back to the school if they were properly approached. Near Shore Solutions will develop an extensive database of the school's alumni, host alumni events such as class reunions and then organise a professional fund raising campaign to benefit the school.

All government sponsored educational institutions in Jamaica continue to suffer from the budgetary pressures being faced by the Jamaican Government. Approximately 95% of the Government's allocation to the Ministry of Education & Youth is earmarked to pay teacher salaries. This leaves precious little for the Ministry or the school to maintain, let alone upgrade their physical plant or develop new academic, cultural or sporting programmes. In order for these institutions to continue to develop, there needs to be another source of funding and the obvious choice is alumni.
